As a kid, Lou collected the travel brochures from rest areas while road tripping with his family.  He found his love for the open road and off the beaten path spots from his dad, "Big Lou".  He found his interest for snowboarding in the mid 80's by turning a water ski into a snowboard and naming the trails in the woods around his childhood home like a ski resort.  Thirty five years later snowboarding remains a passion and you can find him riding in Colorado, Utah and anywhere the snow is good.  In recent years Lou, has dove into the sport of trail running and has completed numerous 50k and 100k trail races.
